Tips:
1. Please control the input current in <=1A for the low heat working state,if need more power output,you can increase the input voltage;
2. Please use high quality and stable input DC source,make sure no over the MAX input voltage;
3. Module contains input reverse polarity protection;
4. For the heavy loader,the max output voltage may get drop,it's normal;

Description:

The HV10W series high voltage power converters are typical boost converters based on 34063 chip which can accept 9 to 18V DC input,and output up to ~210V DC(MAX) ,range set by an on-board 3296 trimmer resistor.
(For Lower DC input you get lower MAX DC output and for heavy loader you get lower MAX DC output,read the details below).
eg: With 12Vin,under 10W output,the MAX HV output is about 180VDC;

This is a very common circuit,the key point of the circuit is the selection of the Inductor and the Mosfet.

The max efficiency is 86.2%, even under 12Vin, 10W output condition,the convert efficiency can still be ~84%.

The frequency is about 65KHz(If wanna try other freq,you can change the cap on-board by yourself.).

Typical Usage:

For driving NIXIE Tubes,Magic Eye Tubes and other applications requiring high DC voltage.

Input: 9V DC~18V;
Output: 180V DC;

10W;(If increase the input voltage may get more power.)
Max efficiency: 86.2%;
Output setting: Adjustable with a single trimmer resistor;
Module size: 32mm(L)*26mm(W)*14mm(H); (*17mm(H) with TO220 type power mosfet been installed).
Frequency:  ~65kHz;

Simple test by myself:

By using a KTEC 12V/1.5A AC Power Adapter which is for my WD USB HARD DRIVER,and driving a regular FSL 15W 220V~240V E14 light bulb,the results shown below:

Input: 12V;
Input Current: 980mA;

180V with the light bulb turned on;
Output Current:
55mA;
Power output:
9.9W;
Efficiency: 84.18%;
No audible noise;
